I'm obsessed with The Sounds, am I the only one here? Theyre an awesome band from Sweden and the lead singer Maja is probably the coolest girl alive, what a babe! They all dress so well and their music is so fun. Its always stuck in my head.

Their new album "Crossing the Rubicon" is amazing, even better than their last two! "No One Sleeps When I'm Awake" has a music video and I love Maja's outfit in this.

Watch this interview and then add them on Myspace

Meg and Dia are working on their new video for the song "Black Wedding," which is the first single from their album "Here, Here and Here." They're posting stills from the video shoot at meganddia.com every day.

Here's one of Meg looking incredible:

"Black Wedding" is also posted on their website, so you can listen to it and a couple other tracks from the album. I love them all.

We decided to put together a cool text campaign that we think will be really
fun to help us donate money to our favorite charity. Here's how it works!

Our goal is to reach 2000 texts. Cool things will happen along the way at
different benchmark numbers of texts. Once we get to 2000, we will be
donating $1,000 to Charity Water, an organization that brings clean and safe
drinking water to people in developing nations. We will also be releasing a
new song from the album on our website!

Helping us reach our goal is easy. All you have to do is text "megdia" to
50505 on your phone. The texting starts now and ends when we reach our goal!
Each fan can text up to once a day. Make sure to respond Y when prompted to
join our list so that you will receive all of the band facts!

Here are the benchmarks:

100 texts - we'll post a new unseen pic to the site
250 texts - we'll text you a fact about Nick!
500 texts - we'll post a new pic to the site
400 texts - we'll text you a fact about Meg!
750 texts - we'll text you a fact about Carlo!
1000 texts - we'll post a new pic to the site
1250 texts - we'll text you a fact about Jonathan!
1500 texts - we'll post a new pic to the site
1750 texts - we'll text you a fact about Dia!
2000 texts - we'll donate $1000 to charity and release a new song from here,
here and here on our website!

Get texting!

i am new here.

i recently got into this new singer called Melanie Fiona and found this awesome video she posted on her youtube of her covering India.Arie's "Ready For Love": http://tinyurl.com/9ko8pz

it's really great. anyone else a fan of melanie fiona? her song "give it to me right" is so great... you can hear it on this sampler: http://tinyurl.com/melfiona

The Family Values Concert Was WAAAAAY trick! I loved it.
FlyLeaf was truely amazing!!! I LOVED Them! And... Evanessence... UNBELIEVABLE! So much energy!!! I went with my girlies: Rebekah, Princess, and Sandra. and we had a blast.
We got a bit beat up though because the mosh pit started right behind where we were sitting on the lawn.
We couldn't afford stadium seats, so we got lawn seats and the mosh pit was riotous (as a mosh pit should be). Photos From The Family Values Concert 2007 In San Fransisco, CACollapse )

well i finally figured out how to post here, now only to get some members!

p.s: to start things off, i have been listening to Lucinda Williams' "Sweet Side" off her World Without Tears album nonstop. its usually not my style but it has grown on me.

Peaces' "impeach My Bush" is also a good album, I have just discovered it.
